Juxtaposing Lithuanian mythology of household deities with the housing crisis in the Netherlands, Anastasija Pirozenko explores a self-governed trailer village on the margins of Amsterdam. Through the inhabitants’ stories and the exploration of their makeshift homes, the film reflects on the notion of home, the fragile illusions of security under late capitalism, and the quiet disappearance of domestic spirits.
